Acai is a purple berry from palm tree that is exclusively found in the tropical regions of Central and South America. Its flavour is best described as somewhere between wild berries and cocoa. Acai berries are a rich source of omega fatty acids as well as a rich source of antioxidants amongst other beneficial nutrients.
